Chest pain should always be taken seriously. Chest pain can be very difficult to diagnose based on symptoms alone . Disc disease in the neck is unlikely to be causing the chest pain . A differential diagnosis for chest pain should include heart, lung or digestive tract problems even problems. Any new chest pain requires a medical evaluation to determine the cause.
