Can you have someone endometriosis years after having a hysterectomy? I am suffering some discomfort , but mostly problems when defecating , it seems like you have an obstruction, constipation is not nor will have hard stools . I hurt my lower back when I'm lying , I turn all night.

It is very unlikely to have endometriosis 74 years of age. Your symptoms may be caused by many other conditions and medical evaluation should be performed . I think you can ensure that endometriosis is one of the least likely causes on the list of possibilities. Good luck.
