I am aware that asked this question a week ago, but if you have not seen your doctor I suggest you do so immediately. He mentioned that he is under a lot of pressure. Stress often causes anxiety , which can lead to hyperventilation, and this in turn can cause changes in blood chemistry that cause chest tightness and numbness in the hands, arms and feet. Alternatively, you may be suffering from a metabolic disorder (eg renal disease ) , connective tissue disease (eg Lupus) or an endocrine disorder ( thyroid disease ) . What is even more worrying is that an underlying heart condition worsens with stress ; ( . Hypertension, smoking, obesity , high cholesterol, etc) so if you have more than 45 years or if you have cardiac risk factors , its pressure chest , fatigue and other symptoms may be the way your body is telling you that your heart is in serious trouble . Your doctor can help you identify the different possibilities and initiate appropriate therapy. Good Luck!
