I have a good sized lumps in the area where the leg bends. They burn and sting; are swollen, red and some insect bites appear. What should I do? Help!

As with most skin problems, the doctor needs to see the problem in person to determine what it is. They could be bites, or it could be a skin infection (sometimes called "impetigo"). If it gets worse or spreads, see your doctor.
