I have a low level of vitamin D (12), fatigue and muscle and joint pain. It is a daily problem. Also I have restless legs at night ... Could this be fibromyalgia? What tests need to be done to determine this?
The best test for fibromyalgia is to conduct a complete physical examination by a medical specialist in fibromyalgia . There is no imaging test or laboratory can confirm fibromyalgia. You should know that vitamin D deficiency can mimic the symptoms of fibromyalgia - fibromyalgia will not diagnose until it has corrected its deficiency of vitamin D. It could take from 9-12 months to correct a low vitamin D.
