I have a pain that extends from the shoulders to the neck. Also I have fat fingers numb hands. What could this be?

A sore neck extending to the arm with or without numbness and tingling looks like it could be caused by a pinched nerve in the neck . This is usually caused by a protruding spinal disc or a bone spur that touches one of your spinal nerves as they exit the neck. This alone often improves with rest and anti-inflammatories, but if your pain lasts more than a week , go see your doctor .
