I have been unable to defecate in 4 days and i'm starting to have a fever and headache. I also had a periodic pain in the abdomen, but not where the appendix is located, the pain could be considered a 5 out of 10. Should I see a doctor?

Since you made your question several days ago, you have probably searched for a solution to their problems. I hope that you are feeling better. Although constipation is not an uncommon problem, when accompanied by abdominal pain, fever and other "constitutional" symptoms (such as headache) should be evaluated by a doctor. These symptoms may be caused by diverticulitis or other reasonable problem.
