I have had severe pain in neck, back and throat for over a week , occasional aches and vomiting head. The doctor said it 's just a runny nose . What's going on ?

Not sure what you have, but it is not runny nose . I recommend getting a second opinion from another doctor immediately. A runny nose is a description of a symptom , not a cause of their symptoms. An Otolaryngologist can evaluate your throat more widely.
