I made a NCV , they may not detect a damaged nerve the arms due to Guillain -Barré syndrome. My main problem is my legs but I have no strong numbness in hands and face.
I understand that you are asking for a NCV ( Nerve Conduction Velocity ) . This test only detects if there is damage to the nerve fascicles . These nerve bundles withstand the pressure and touch. Pain in the finer nerves does not appear. Only a biopsy will show if the finer nerves are damaged and this test is rarely done .
