Is it considered normal to have dizziness and ringing in the ears ( I'd never had before ) 7 days after I performed a lumbar puncture ? I performed a lumbar puncture 7 days ago , I have no headaches or other side effects apart from ringing in the ears and dizziness that come and go .

The only common complication of lumbar puncture headache. Persistent dizziness and ringing in the ears are not likely consequences of puncture. Talk to your doctors about this, it could indicate a more serious problem.
