Should I get an x-ray of the shoulder ? I fell off my horse , a fall of about 5 feet . I examined the neck, head and lower back but I really have shoulder hurts even when I move .

The shoulder pain could be due to a fracture, a bruise , a torn rotator , a dislocated shoulder or collarbone. It could even be radiating from a pinched nerve in his neck. It would be a good idea to shoulder radiographs being performed. Could you give more information ? Does it hurt more with movement of the shoulder or when you move your head all the way back ? Do you have any other pain ? Do you have numbness, tingling or weakness ? Is an MRI of the cervical spine was made ?
