What would be happening? I have pain on the left side of the neck, 3 lumps in the same and pain in the left ear that sometimes becomes very sharp. The lumps are growing more and the pain gets worse every day. In my family there is a history of cancer.
Although your symptoms are somewhat alarming, are not necessarily caused by a cancer. Lymph nodes (the most likely source of lumps in his neck) respond to inflammatory processes in the areas of the body that "monitor". That is their function. In fact, a sore lymph nodes usually involve the presence of an inflammatory process rather than a cancerous process. You may have an infection in your ear which caused the inflammation and pain in this area. If you have not, see your doctor. Even if it were a serious condition, the sooner you treat the better the outcome.
